Karen offers a range of yoga classes in the heart of Armagh city at the Palace Stables, Armagh, BT60 4EL in the Hayloft surrounded by a beautiful forest park & sensory garden.
6.30PM – 7.30PM: REST & RESTORE YOGA
Feeling stressed, exhausted & in need of a quiet space to rebalance your body & mind?
This is a gentle, restorative class that helps you to slow down, releasing physical & emotional tension. It is a restful practice incorporating gentle movement and focusing on stillness in postures & deep breathing whilst being supported by bolsters & cushions.
7.45PM – 8.45PM: INTERMEDIATE YOGA
This is stronger & more challenging class where you can continue to develop your practice. This is suitable for those students who already have a good understanding of basic postures & wish to explore a wider variety of poses, sequences (vinyasa), & breath work (pranayama).
**Please bring your own yoga mat, wear loose comfortable clothing & bring water for hydration**
Recommended equipment: yoga blocks, yoga strap, yoga bolster, cushions or pillows, blankets
Classes run in 6-week blocks (£50) or you can choose to drop-in £10
Yoga helps us to remain CONNECTED, COMPASSIONATE & CALM.
If you are currently undergoing medical treatment or recovering from an injury, you must consult with your medical/health professional regarding the suitability of attending a yoga class.
Please do not attend class if you are feeling unwell or if you are isolating in accordance with COVID guidelines.
Karen provides yoga classes & specialised workshops in the Armagh area & across Northern Ireland for the staff of private companies, organisations & public bodies as part of their wellbeing programme. Classes can be fully or partially subsidised by the employer or the employer can act as a host in their business premises with staff paying individually for classes.
